The Enneagram Retreat:
Knowing yourself, growing yourself
A retreat to honor your authentic self

September 24th-26th, 2021

Picture

Daring Way Facilitators Rochelle and Lee Ann are joining forces again to bring you a retreat that is about one of their favorite topics: The Enneagram.

Rochelle on the Enneagram:

Picture
Rochelle first learned about the enneagram in 2000 and became intrigued with it because it instantly impacted her understanding of herself and others (she is the number 3 performer).  She read several books on the enneagram over the next several years and finally became an accredited iEQ9 enneagram practitioner in December of 2018.  Since that time, Rochelle has used the iEQ9 assessment in a variety of ways to help individuals develop self-awareness and to create a plan toward further understanding and self- growth.  She attended an inner healing retreat with Bea Chestnut in 2019 that deepened her interest in using the enneagram in her practice.  She continues to study the enneagram because she believes it is an insightful roadmap designed to help individuals intentionally move toward a higher essence of the self.

Lee Ann on the Enneagram:

Picture
As part of her training and development Lee Ann taken a lot of personality tests, but discovering the Enneagram (and that she was the number 5 Observer) was a game changer. It has given her so much compassion for herself and her wiring, and it is a lens she can use to understand and have more empathy with others. Applying it to her friendships and her marriage has made such a difference. In addition to reading books and articles on the Enneagram, being an avid follower of the Instagram account enneagramandcoffee, and encouraging everyone to learn about it, Lee Ann has also taken workshops on creative ways to work with your Enneagram number.

About the Retreat

As a part of the retreat preparation you will be given a link to take the online iEQ9 assessment and you will receive a twenty page report about your Enneagram type.
It alone will include:
  • Helpful information about your interpersonal social style
  • Insightful knowledge about your conflict style
  • Constructive clues about your leadership style
  • Essential data that will help you understand your sub-type
  • Valuable information about your stress and strain levels
  • An understanding of your motivation for taking action

During the retreat weekend Rochelle with guide you in developing a deeper understanding about your personality type and sub-type. You can expect to learn more about your type's blind spots and specific defense mechanisms, and ways to make useful cognitive shifts in your thinking. You will also develop a plan for next steps in your personal journey toward essence. You can expect to participate in integration exercises individually and with the others in the group.

Using the creative modality of SoulCollage®, Lee Ann will help you to take what you are learning from your head to your heart. If you know how to cut and paste you can do SoulCollage®, which are small collage cards made from images. This method will help you to explore more about your type, as well as where you go during times of strength and struggle. As a registered yoga teacher Lee Ann will also guide optional yoga to get you into your body and relax.

 A Note on COVID-19 Precaution

The public health advisories, vaccination rate, infection/re-infection rates are constantly changing, and so too will our plans and procedures change as the need arises.  W
e anticipate frequent reevaluation of our plans to mitigate the risk of spread and infection of the COVID-19 virus.

It is uncertain yet if we will require participants to receive a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of arrival and to quarantine after they have taken their test. Other measures that may be required would be checking temperature and sympotoms upon arrival. These decisions will be made closer to the retreat date.

Blackwood Land holds Nature camps and already has safety and cleaning protocols in place
based on recommendations from the CDC, the Texas Department of Health, and other camps around the country.

We
appreciate your patience and understanding as we try our best to keep this retreat safe. If you have any further thoughts, concerns, or suggestions, please feel free to email us.

"The real heart of any RETREAT is the combination of people who are open to receive and explore with a vulnerable heart."
