About Catherine
After receiving her Bachelors Degree in Communications from Loyola University New Orleans, Catherine’s career in Sales and Marketing skyrocketed. She became a top sales producer for one of the nation’s largest home builders. Catherine quickly learned “success” was simple - the harder you work, the more money you make. Unfortunately, that lifestyle wasn’t conducive to creating a healthy family. Giving birth to her three children led Catherine to drastically redefine her ideas of a successful life.
Motherhood brought years of spiritual journey work. From contemplative prayer and bible study to silent retreats and meditation, Catherine began to dig deeper for meaning and purpose that went far beyond the world’s definition of success. Through a practice of yoga, art and meditation, Catherine has learned to comfortably and joyfully live inside her own skin. Finding a connection to her physical body was the "missing link" to living fully in the here and now. Teaching and sharing these practices with others has enabled Catherine to grow light and love in the world, transcending the need to define a successful life. Catherine is a Houston, TX native and currently lives with her husband of 23 years and two of their three children in Taylor Lake Village, TX. |
