In SoulCollage® there are different categories you put your cards into once you have made them.
This card and the one I will show you next week, belong in my community section. When I made this collage card, I had no idea why I chose the images I did, I just knew they were speaking to my soul.
Well, I guess I have to use my intuition and trusting faith to re-write about this card as, for someone reason, it disappeared from my word document.
I made this card to help me with struggle.
Brené says we are wired for strength and for struggle. In SoulCollage®, a technique used to help you with insights about your card, is to journal or speak from the card using the prompt “I am one who…”
I thought what better way to express authenticity than to let you read my personal journaling from that prompt for this card, which I call The Perfectionist: “When you gather images from magazines and other sources, when you cut them out, paste them onto cards, and then consult them, it is the same sort of miracle. You are gathering your various inner parts, conscious and less conscious, lovable and irritating, beautiful and shadowy, and then you ‘sing’ over them so they can transform into a freer and more vibrant soul.” |
